Games Update-July 12

Ok everyone. Two words: DLC mania.

Rock Band DLC-July 14th

  • Big Dipper
    • “All Going Out Together”
    • “She’s Fetching”
    • “Younger Bums”
  • Judas Priest
    • “Dissident Aggressor (Live)”
    • “Eat Me Alive (Live)”
    • “Prophecy (Live)”
  • The Dead Weather
    • “Hang You From the Heavens”
    • “No Hassle Night”
    • “Treat Me Like Your Mother”

All songs 160MSP individually or 440MSP for each 3-pack.

Now as for the Guitar Hero World Tour DLC. Webb, the guy who runs referred to this month as a bunch of “unknowns.” Bullshit. Check it out.

The Victory Track Pack, 440MSP-Pack 160MSP-Individually

  • A Day To Remember – “NJ Legion Iced Tea”
  • The Sleeping – “Bomb the World”
  • Silverstein – “I Am The Arsonist”

Eagles of Death Metal Track Pack, available July 16th:

  • “Anything Cept The Truth”
  • “Cherry Cola”
  • “I Only Want You”

Vagrant Records Track Pack, available July 23rd:

  • Thrice – “All the World is Mad”
  • Alexisonfire – “Young Cardinals”
  • Senses Fail – “The Martyr”

Knuckle Sandwich Track Pack, available July 30th:

  • Protest the Hero – “Bloodmeat”
  • Dropkick Murphys – “I’m Shipping up to Boston”
  • Against Me! – “New Wave”
If that is “unknown,” I want to see what known is. Anyways, Activision has announced 24 songs that will be featured in Guitar Hero 5. Some notables include Beastie Boys, Blur, Children of Bodom, Darkest Hour, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Queens of the Stone Age, Santana, Thrice, and Wolfmother. Not much else unless you include the fact that Bioshock 2 has taken on a fourth developer.
